Perry Tenitiss a male abyssinian cat and ex-presidential hopeful was born in Missouri in 2005. After moving to Mouskin, Texas in March of 2006 he began campaigning for America's highest office. He declared his candidacy the day the Animal Protection Act was signed into law by George W. Bush.

Although the race was close and Perry was well supported among his peer groups, media outlets refused to take him seriously. That was not the case, however, with the Barak Obama campaign. More often than not ideas posted on Perry's weblogs [1]turned up in Mr. Obama's speeches and policy statements shortly after they were published. In early October 2008, points made about putting a moratorium on home foreclosures was posted late Sunday night on Perry's blogs and was on the news coming from Mr. Obama's mouth verbatim the very next morning.

Perry tried to participate in the last two debates but in the first was told that he was "too short for the podiums". In the second he was invited to participate and was actually at the studio, but feared being kicked or stepped on during John McCain's manic pacings.

A week before the election, Perry conceded, much to the disappointment of his many supporters. He encouraged them all to vote for Barak Obama. Since that time the Obama administration still seems to be reading Perry's blogs and culling ideas from them. Perry's comment on this situation is, "It's as if I was president!"
