Mr. Bow ( Salvador Pedro Maiaze, or Bawito or Kota de Familia) was born on April 30, 1982 in Manjacaze district, Gaza Province as a son of Pedro Maiaze and Roda Langa.
Mr. Bow began singing as a child imitating musicians such as R. Kelly, Back Street Boys, Joe and Tyrese, and participated competitions held in nightclubs in his hometown. Later he joined local hip-hop groups and became known as Mc Bow.
Mr. Bow soon left Manjacaze, his hometown, to Xai-Xai in 1999 with the purpose of work and study. In 2001, he traveled to the capital city, Maputo to visit his relatives, and ended up with residing there permanently.
In Maputo, Mr. Bow made a rather radical decision that is to change his main musical style from hip-hop to R&B, Soul and Zouk. The song entitled Leicha was prominent during this period.
In 2008, Toasted market with its first album My Dream, gained much recognition in public with media exposure. "Meu Sonho" ( my dream) was worthy of numerous accolades and won the title of one of the best albums of 2008.
A year later, Mr. Bow released his second album Kota Family that is named after Mr. Bow’s nickname. Kota Family incorporates marrabenta, inspired solely by , the king of marrabenta, yet with revolutionary approach. The album won the title of the best album in music charts.
In the contest of Mozambican music, "Ngoma Mozambique 2011-2012" was posted in the category of popular music and the award for best light music in MMA (Mozambique Music Aword). It should be stressed that the prizes mentioned above were collected with the song "Nitati dlaya".
2012’s album entitled Sign of Victoria was also a real success, with the highlight the Laurinda and Signal Victoria songs.
Not long for "Kota family" launched another bomb to market the album "Best of Me" released in 2013 This album took Mr. Bow to win again the contest Mozambican music, "Ngoma Mozambique 2013-2014 "in the categories of popular music with the theme" Bawito ".

Mr. Bow has participated in many events where he received great feedback, ranging from FDC (campaigns projects), FACIM (opening of the annual fair), Municipal Council (festivals and birthday of Moz cities), Mcel and Vodacom- (activations), Embassy of the United States (AIDS campaigns and hunger), Bank of Mozambique (launch parties projects), Orphanages (visits and lectures on methods of prevention and care against HIV-AIDS) to MTN (South African festival about sponsoring the mobile phone company MTN).
Today, Mr. Bow is the owner and managing director of advertising, marketing of Bawito services agency
