Craig Thompson or known by his subscribes as MiniLadd is a gaming youtuber. Known for his gaming series such as Happy Wheels, GTA V, and other games series. MiniLadd has over 1 billion views on his Youtube content videos and has over 4.6 million subscribers. He started out his current Youtube channel on May 12, 2011. The gamer doesn’t only have a Youtube change though. He also has a streaming channel on Twitch. He also has other social media accounts such as Facebook. Instagram, and Twitter. And has a merch store through the 3blackdot company. ^[1]

Craig uses the named MiniLadd as his gamer tag in almost every game he plays. The name comes from a incident that happened when he was about 6 or 7. He was friends with another person named Craig and they always would get confused on who their friends were calling for. So to save the confusion his friends decided since Craig was smaller and younger then the other Craig they would just call him Mini. The Ladd part of his gamer tag came later when his friends all started playing games online and decided that because Ladd was a popular term in Britain they should add it to the end of their names. ^[2] So he became MiniLadd. However on YouTube and Twitter when he began the name MiniLadd caused a search error, therefor his search name is MiniLaddd.^[3]

Craig started making youtube content because of his friends. His friends one day told him about a video by a guy named Kevin, in which Kevin was trolling people online during a video game.^[4] Craig enjoyed these types of videos and began to produce them himself. He had originally started out his channel as a vlogger but changed over to Call of Duty commentaries in which he began to troll people and create funny moments.His first ever video he posted was a Modern Warfare II video in which he clutched a round. He since has made that video private. ^[5]

Craig was born on January 7, 1995 in Dubai.^[6][7] In which he spent the first 5 years of his life. He ended up travelling to Thailand and living there for 2-3 years. He moved then Northern Ireland for a year. And then to Singapore for 2 years. He then ended back up in Ireland until he moved to the United States. All this travelling was from his father moving to do his job.^[8] Growing up Craig played a variety of sports such as soccer, tennis and rugby. Craig also attended college for Music Production but after going for two weeks he wanted to see if he could grow his YouTube career more first and dropped out.^[9] Rugby being his favorite sport. In July of 2014 Craig announced his decision to move to LA.^[10] And in January/February of 2015 he moved into an apartment in LA. ^[11][12] However after living in an apartment for ten months Craig chose to buy and move into a house, due to constant complaints from his downstairs neighbors saying he was to loud.^[13] Craig moved into his new home and currently is still living there in LA with his girlfriend Samantha also known as SuniDey.

On May 4, 2016 Craig posted a video in which he is getting his hair dyed neon pink.^[14] The reason behind him dyeing his hair was because he promised his fans he would after raising approximately $55,000 for Cancer research.^[15] In November of 2017 Craig announced through video his sponsorship of the rugby club in Derry, County London berry, Northern Ireland. Craig chose to sponsor the club for the next ten years. Upon hearing this the club chose to change the name of the stadium in honor of Craig. The stadium now named Craig Thompson Stadium and has MiniLadd’s emblem on their uniforms and signs. ^[16]
