Mateo Popich is a mechanical engineer and computer scientist. He is most notably known for his love of coffee and above average height, being 6 feet tall by the time he was 15.

Cars

Mateo is also known for his mechanical experience on cars, as he owns a 1988 Toyota Celica GT-Four, which was a rally car and is rare among enthusiasts because in the US there were less than 3,000 models imported.[1] He stated on social media that he has taken apart the engine down to the cylinder head and refreshed all the gaskets and maintenance components, such as the clutch, oil changes and the thermostat. His car was successfully fixed for 2 weeks until the clutch throw out bearing exploded again. Currently the engine and transmission are out of the car and he is waiting on parts to put the engine back together.

Sim Racing

Mateo is also invested into sim racing, having a Logitech G29 wheel, pedals and a shifter which is considered entry level equipment but he says he has fun even with the entry level equipment. His personal favorite car to drive is theion called "Assetto Corsa[2]"

Coffee

Mateo is also very fond of coffee, drinking up to 5 coffees a day, with little to no preference on how the coffee is brewed, as long as it's hot.
