Mark Strobel, singer songwriter and founder of the band "The Name", 1984. Signed to China Records, owned by Derek Green in London. The Name released two albums "Dangerous Times" produced by Mark Dearnley, and later a second album "Promise". Band members Mark strobel vocals, Steve Crittall guitar, Steve Bull keyboards, Brian Gatens drums and Steve Lamb bass. Most recent apearance of the band was in 2008 at a secret birthday party for their manager Johannes Wessels. The lineup was; Mark Strobel vocals, Steve Crittall guitar, and the rythum section from the Band "Freakadella"
