Lovanion's Musings

I have just recently found Wikipedia, and it seems like a dream come true. Alot of you will know what I mean when I say that. The reason I included the "Myst Franchise" sidebar to the right is because my main contributions to Wikipedia concern the database started and maintained by Chucker, who happens to be the one who created the sidebar as well.

My Myst Addiction

I fell in love with Myst when I first played it at the age of 12, when it first came out. I am now 23, and my love for it has not stopped, and most likely never will. I have bought every game concerning the Myst Franchise that Cyan Worlds Inc. has ever released, as well as all three of the Myst Novels. Unfortunately, I haven't had the pleasure of attending a Mysterium yet, but hope to in the future.

About Me

Let's see. I am addicted to Mountain Dew, love aviation, military history, writing, reading, editing, photography. I have a great sense of humor, Imho, and am quite the computer geek, never being able to get enough of it. I guess this entire "About Me" has been as exciting as mixing regular with the decaf. Ok, I'll stop.

"There are no choices. Nothing but a straight line. The illusion comes afterwards, when you ask 'Why me?' and 'What if?'. When you look back and see the branches, like a pruned bonsai tree, or forked lightning. If you had done something differently, it wouldn't be you, it would be someone else looking back, asking a different set of questions."

"The genius of the hole: no matter how much time you spend climbing out, you can still fall back down in an instant."

"Death is inevitable. Our fear of it makes us play safe, blocks out emotion. It's a losing game. Without passion you are already dead."
