Hi,

I do not spend hours a day on wikipedia, but I have been editing regularly for several years.

I don't watch a lot of pages, and I'm cutting down on the number that I'm actively involved in due to time constraints (this is, after all, an addictive waste of time). My interests are in American politics and media and currently, I'm involved in a few pages which are frequent targets of WP:NPOV or WP:BLP violations. I also watch a couple of pages which are frequent targets of vandalism. This frequently leads to claims that I am "working for" the subject (or its opposition). In one notable week, I was separately accused of being a shill for the Obama, Clinton, McCain and Huckabee campaigns.

As I don't have huge amounts of time to contribute, I don't spend a lot of time adding content. I've never created an article or uploaded an image. My interest is in improving articles which already exist and guarding against vandalism and tendentious editing.

I don't get involved in edit wars. If things get too heated on a page, I will leave it alone for a few days. I may weigh in, but I'll leave it to other, better, editors to fight those fights.
