Do please ping me - {{u|LookingGlass}} or {{ping|LookingGlass}} - if you'd like me to contribute in a discussion on an article's talk page.

(p.s in practice I have no idea how to do this. I just copied the text from a friend. It seemed like a great idea! I suspect you'd need to put :LookingGlass immediately after that "u" and paste the resulting link wherever you'd like me to contribute.)

Thanks to Marc Kupper for telling me how!

update

I used to do a lot of editting on wiki but became disheartened with the way the project seemed to be developing. I still use wiki a lot for research. Recently I have strayed back to do the odd minor edit.
Today I was INVITED to join the Wikipedia Library Thischuffed me no end. I was also invited to vote in the Stewards election. ...or so I thought. Grateful for being invited to The Library, I went to do my electoral duty - drafting a simpler version of the voting process while I was there (which seems unnecessarily circuitous and time consuming). Half way through the voting process (it takes an age) a kindly soul dropped me a note there, to say I wasn't eligible to vote - I could vote if I wanted but it wouldn't count! #@%&*! Oh well, never mind, I had the library to check out!
At The Library, however, I was confronted with an odd sounding user agreement, and decided to do some research. On returning to the page, I found the screen had refreshed, without any input from me, displaying a popup that I didn't qualify!!!
Wiki is phishing with the rest now it seems, another time-sink. Sad. LookingGlass (talk) 19:25, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
