Darwin

Charles Robert, who lived from February 12, 1809 to April 19, 1882, was a naturalist, geologist, and biologist who was known for his contributions to the science of evolution.

The Narrative of his Life:

In 1882 Darwin was born, When he grew up he always studied  wanted to study nature, even though his Father wanted him to be a doctor or a priest. In his 30s he decided to sale to the south of America, because he wanted to study connect exotic specimens. What he found was amazing, He thought to hi self what if species weren’t as permanent and perfect as people thought. In Argentina Darwin found fossils of a Species that existed before. Clearly the species was a older version of a Sloth.This proved it to hi that species have changed over time. He  also saw mocking birds, while saying, When he got to the Galapagos he saw different mocking birds on the island.  They wer different from each other. He found out the reason why they were different is because of the place they live in when it is cold they evolve to a different version, when it is warmer in that place they evolve in a different way. Like us humans, some of us have brown eyes because we live in this place, and these eyes are better. Some live in the cold and they evolve and have different eye color. Unfortunately he could not prove that so quickly, because the place he lived in was very religious and did not believe in these things. So After years of waiting and finishing the book he wrote, Finally people noticed and claimed him as “Charles Darwin the one who discovered evolution”

Steve Jobs: The Inventor of Apple

Steve jobs was born on 1955 feb24 and died October 5th. He has one of the most successful company in the world. The first apple device was made in 1976 the apple1 then in 1977 apple 2 was released in 1993 Apple 3 was released.. and so on. Unfortunately Steve jobs suffered from liver cancer in 2007-2008 he then got a new liver later in a operation. His last to products were a iPhone 1  and 2  in 2008 ans the iPad 1 in 2011. Then he died in 2011 in October 5th of pancreatic tumor. Steve jobs was so successful he became a billionaire and had 8 billion dollars. Then the company was able to get 1 trillion dollars. The company now is still very successful.

Steve jobs was born in 1955 in Francisco, California, his parents were unable to care for him. His life was a difficult, and sad. Then he got adopted by Paul and Clara.  He was interested in making a device when he got older. After  made a company, soon they threw him out and he went to another company, and he successfully made it.

Sports: Tommie Smith

On October 16 1968 A Runner called Tommie Smith. He is known for his Athene . Running 200 meters in under 20 seconds with Athene. The second thing he was known for was his fist he raised when he broke the record. That first represented   Power and that the goal was achieved.  The feet with the pash role represented Poverty. It is making a statement with out saying a word. When he did that they immediately took him out. For thinking he is dangerous so he could to get a job either. The News say that Tommie Smith ans Jhn Carlos to be inducted into hall of fame. Then both were expelled after raising there fist on podium  in protest at 1968 summer olympics. They did this because they wanted to stop the things that were happening in the country. They were speaking for the people that had bin beaten down and the people that are poor. That is why they  took they shoes off and raised their hand  of the fist meant.

Culture: Bob Marley

Bob Marley was a song writer. He as people said, was the king of  reggae music. He sold over 20 million records in his life. Many people loved his music. Everyone knew about him. His friend bunny, encouraged Bob to play the guitar. He played beautifully, so then Bob’s parents and his family members got involved as well. In the 1950s Bob Marley, lived in Trench Town. There he suffered from poverty, but with the music around him he became famous and even got the opportunity to be in the radio. He also married a woman called Rita Marley. Bob Marley loved her and gave her a life of romance. Though when the baby came he did not care a lot about him. Bob Marley unfortunately died when his Son was only 10 years old. How bob Marley died was very tragic. In 1977 While he was playing soccer he found a black spot under his foot nail. He though that it was only a little injury, but actually it was a first sign of cancer that would take his life. After his Injury got worse. He decided to go to the Hospital. There they diagnosed him with cancer. Bob Marley did not care and only wanted his toe to be amputated. Unfortunately he couldn’t He tried several things in Germany that did not work. In 1981 it got so bad, that he collapsed while jogging. After it got so worse. Bob Marley decided to fly back to Jamaika. Sadly he did not come back. While his flight his conditions went down hill. He was rushed to Emergency care. Doctors said that it was too late. There Bob Marley died at only a age of 36. Bob Marley got this cancer because of the drugs he took. Which made him addicted to him which lead him to cancer. Thousands of people went to his Funeral. His Death made him surprisingly more popular. Many people linked him and talked about him until he became famous. His message was love. His last ever music was “Could you be loved” Now this music is very popular all around the world. Many people your him and remember his music.

Historical: Alexander the great

Alexander the Great  was born in Pella in 356 B.C. His Parents were King Phillip and Queen  Olympias. Legends say that his Father was Zeus, the Greek god. At age 12 Alexander’s Parents were impressed by him for taming a wild horse. Later on this horse was used in battles, the horse was with him, for a long time. When Alexander turns 13 His Father King Phillip, called the philosopher, Aristotle to tutor his son. Aristotle made an interest for Alexander for literature, medicine, science and philosophy. At only 16, King Phillip had to leave his son by him self to begin a battle in Byzantine Empire. On that, Alexander was in charge of Macedonia in 338 B.C. after his Father left, he wanted to prove to his father, that he is stronger than the Sacred Band of Thebes, which are known for the strongest and most terrifying band. So he trained his soldiers, and led a cavalry against the Sacred Band of Thebes. Successfully Alexander the great proved his strength and bravery, and decimated the Sacred Band of Thebes. Alexander ruled the Kingdom after his father was murdered by his bodyguard in 336 B.C. By that tie Alexander was only 20 years old. He had to rule the Kingdom by him self. So at a age of his he claimed the Macedonian throne. In 334 Alexander led great led an greek army. The army was enormous which took over turkey. TheMen crossed the Aegean Sea to get revenge o the Persian lands. Successfully they crossed the Persian Empire. Then a large war began with the Persian Troops that were left. This war took place to  3-4 years. Then His Army continued traveling to other countries and taking over the he took over, the Persian Empire, which  was a territory,   in Egypt, India, Turkey and Iran. Now Alexander teh great is the very famous, because he is known for the most successful military commanders in all history. He was the one who was “responsible for changing the face of the ancient world”

Literacy:

Omar Khayyam was born in 1048 in May 18  in Iran. He was raised by his Moms name is unknown and his Fathers name was Ebrahim Khayyami. The city was called Nishapur, in northern Persia. He was mot known for the brilliant matmatican. His father was a physician. To teach Omar he brought him a tutor who taught  him math science physic Avicenna, an so on. He was a great student. He taught him everything he needed to be like his father. Before when Omar was younger Omar worked in his father’s  surgery.there he learned about medicine and and how to be a doctor. When Omar turned 18 his Father and his tutor died in 1066. Then  Omar Khayyam joined a regular caravans, where he made a 3 month journey, from Nishapur to the great city of Smarkand. Then he arrived there in 1068,  he  was 20 years old, when he arrived. There he met a old friend Abu Tahir who was a chief of the city. He observed him, and gave him a job, in the king’s treasury.

In Algebra we learn ax2 + bx + c = 0; these are called quadratic equations. A Cubic equation is from a form ax3 + bx2 + cx + d = 0. Khayyam conjectured correctly that it is not possible to solve this. You will need geometric tools or other methods to do this. At age of 22 in 1070 Khayyam published his book. E said that this is one of his greatest works he has ever done. This book showed the right way to solve the equations. He made a sketch which showed the language of modern mathematic. Which shows the right way of solving equations in Algebra. He became very famous and was very smart. He also created a lot of  other books, which were inspired by many people.
