Richard Williamson is eclectic. A graduate of UNC-Greensboro and an alumnus of the University of Bristol, he spent years as a graphic designer before working his way up the ranks of the marketing world, starting at Vanguard Cellular. After appearing on a reality TV show ( Spymaster), he took a break from marketing to work as a deputy sheriff and bomb squad team member, and then returned to marketing after a career-ending spinal injury. He is now Vice President of Marketing at [HealthLynked].

I am, as the handle suggests, a lacrosse coach. I have played since I was a kid and have been coaching lacrosse on and off since I was 18. I used to race bicycles. In fact, I left lacrosse in college to take up cycling as my main sport. I've also raced canoes, kayaks, and roller blades. I've done triathlons, duathlons, and wilderness triathlons (kayak-run-mountain bike) I don't think of myself as a person who races, but I tend to end up racing whatever it is I take a fancy to as a hobby.

I also like art. With a degree in art, you'd think (or hope) I'd actually DO art--and I do, but not as much or as often as I'd prefer. I like pen-and-ink best. Of course, that is the least salable of all art forms. My favorite subject matter are people and trees, not necessarily in that order. I fear I am not any better at art than when I graduated college. Maybe a little better in terms of structure and composition, but my facility with my medium is not as good.

Jack of all trades and master of none? Not really. I am a senior marketing executive, so I actually do have a degree of expertise in that area. And, since I've done a lot of different activities in my life, in some other things, as well. Here's a list:
