A little about my interests.

I'm a computer programmer with more than a passing interest in mathematics (and physics). I've used and know many operating systems including Amiga OS, OS/2, Linux, AIX, Solaris, Windows and OS X, and have written software on and for all of these.


I am proficient with SAP ABAP and C++ and know C#, Python, Perl, Objective-C and Pascal well. I know a lot about Fonts, the PDF spec, how to write a LALR(1) parser from the ground up, and also know regular expressions quite well. I'm a Vim text editor fan, but prefer Sublime Text/Visual Studio Code as my editor.

For recreation I love playing computer games, reading science fiction and fantasy, playing the game of Go, and playing squash.

Even though I've owned a [911SC] and a BMW 3.0s in the past, I'm not a car person. (I just like things with classic appeal.)

I do also love to tinker and have built my own custom 60% mechanical keyboard.
