Mr. Kumar Roy, son of late Ram Narayan Roy, Village Chunapur, Purnea, Bihar, is an imposing patron he has done immense service for the development Purnea Town & Chunapur village. He and his brother Dr. Mohan Roy built India’s biggest cinema hall, namely Four Star, at a place like Purnea in the Year of 1984. At that time, Purnea not deserved like that, after the cinema hall, the town acquire good momentum of development. Dr. Mohan Roy and Mr. Kumar Roy did great service to development of his native village Chunapur; to commemorate the memory of his beloved parent has constructed a middle school building in the bank of Kossi River just the side Purnea town. They built a middle school in the name of his parents, “Shashi Mukhi Ram Narayan Middle School” or “S. R. Middle School” Chunapur, Purnea, Bihar, at the cost of Rs.10 Lakh and donated 5 Acres of land to the school. The motto of school was free education for the poorer of poor children of Chunapur Village, and so they donated land & building to Government of Bihar for smooth functioning of the school. The school benefited a lot to Chunapur and sounding village more than 1000 student getting free education every year since 1986. Mr. Roy also facilitate DAV Public School, Delhi, to open a high school branch at Purnea in his parent name that is “Shashi Mukhi Ram Narayan DAV Public School” at Purnea for quality education benefited particularly girls & boys of Purnea town. At that time Purnea did not had quality school, the children of Purnea had to go out of state for quality education. More than 1600 children getting same from DAV school each year since 1998. Mr. Roy also setup a Ply-board Factory, at Chunapur Road, Purnea, name & style of “Kaushik Ply-board Industries Private Limited”. Due to government unforeseen policy the industries did not survive because that time Bihar had a dark period. But that industry benefitted Purnea town enormous way, a new township grew in the name from industry that is “Kaushik Nagar”, Chunapur Road, Purnea, Bihar. The growth of this town is fastest in the Purnea district. Mr. Roy has tremendous participation in green revolution, he planted largest number tree, not only in the Purnea district but whole Bihar in his farm at Chunapur & Mahenderpur. He plant more than 3 thousand Mango tree, 12 hundred Lichi and more than 5 thousand other valuable tree. He digs 10 Acres of Fish Pound at Mahenderpur. Mr. Roy also built a Shashi Mukhi Hanuman Temple at Matha-Than out secret of Purnea, in the name of his beloved mother at Adampur, Purnea.

Mr. Kumar Roy and his wife Mrs. Neelam Roy have three children, 2-yielder doughtier one youngest son. His eldest doughtier Mrs. Anuradha Roy did Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Technology from Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur, India, and Master Degree in information management from University of California, Berkeley, USA. She is an implied in Goldman Sac & Co, New Jersey, USA, as Project Manager, this bank is world largest investment Bank, New York, USA. She got married with Kumar Mayur Thakur, he did his Bachelor of Engineering from IIT Delhi in computer Science, after that he went to USA did his Master and P.HD from Rochester University, New York, USA, and presently he is working in Google at New York. Mr. Roy younger doughtier Mrs, Amrita Roy did his Bachelors of Engineering, Nagpur, India in the field Computer Science, from G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering, from Nagpur, India. She is trying her Master Degree in USA. She got married with Mr. Anand Jha, he did his Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi University in Mechanical Engineering after that he went to USA and did his Master from Stan Ford University, California, and presently he is working with Deloitte Consulting Company, San Francesco, USA as a Senior Manager. Mr. Roy got lovely grand children Master Atharva. Mr. Roy son is a Dr. Ashish Kumar Roy, he did his MBBS from Kasturba Gandhi Medical College, Mangalore, Karnataka, after that he clear all the three part of U S M. L. E. Exam, and tiring to get enrol in Internship at USA. He got married with Dr. Mony Roy, she did her MBBS from S.K. Medical college Muzaffarpur, she also clear her all three part of U S M L E exam, wafting for getting enrol in Internship at USA.
