ItsHong, known by most as Hong, is an numismatist and historian focused mainly on Brunei and Sarawak. He is a proud Sarawakian who considers Brunei Darussalam his second home. He is currently taking a Bachelor's degree in Medical Bioscience at Monash University Malaysia.

Born and raised in Borneo, he attended Chung Hwa Middle School, BSB from Year 1 till graduating with his GCE O'Level results in Year 11. After which he moved to Selangor to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Bioscience from Monash University Malaysia.

Known by most in real life as Hong, the username ItsHong is derived from his Instagram handle @its._.hong, which was also chosen due to it's simplicity. Hong can be contacted via Instagram through the handle given or through his email: [email protected]

Hong is an enthusiastic kid at heart who enjoys volleyball, badminton, and pool. He is also a numismatic and history researcher who also collects and deals in antiquities, specialising in oriental numismatics.

Hong's motivation to edit on Wikipedia is due to his belief that everyone should have access to education and open information, as long as the respective author(s) is/are properly credited. After creating the account and occasionally making several minor edits to random articles when needed, he had decided to create the Wikipedia page of his high school, Chung Hwa Middle School, BSB; later granted semi-official permission by the principal, Kho Guik Lan, and the assistant principal, Tan Been Tiem. He was also tasked by the school with maintaining the Wikipedia page upon approval.
