Dazen Dakup

(born September 06, 1994), popularly known as Dazen, is a Nigerian-rapper singer and songwriter.

Dazen released, his first single E no Easy in September 5, 2020

Early life

Dazen was born Dazen Dakup in Katsina State, Nigeria. He was raised in Abuja, but an Indigene of Pankshin Local Government Area of plateau State

Education

He attended GSS Lugbe Abuja and graduated from Plateau State Polytechnic Jos, in 2016, with a diploma in Public Administration. While in Polytechnic, he decided to pursue music as a career alongside his studies.

Personal life

DAZEN is a simple guy and a realist who loves saying things the way they are. He is also a Pan-Africanist who is doing the needful at his own pace for African people to be free and united.

Career

In February 8, 2020 Dazen released his first single titled E NO EASY

In October 31, 2020. Dazen released a Second follow up single, “Life 4 Naija,”

In 2015, many of his fans thought he would switch into Hair styling in the nearest future as he was uploading Nice Hair Cuts. However he said Hair styling is his profession and skill. Music is his main talent.

Record label dispute and name change

In November 2021, Dazen announced that he had changed his stage name from Drealest to Dazen, a name which immediately reflected on his social media accounts. New Audiomack, Spotify and Apple Music accounts were also created immediately with the name Dazen, with his new songs featured.
