Imam Ali was born in hijaz (Saudi Arabia). His mother was called Fatima bint asad And his father was called Abu Talib. His grand father was called Abdul Motalib. When Prophet Mohammad was about to die he said من کنت مولاه فهذا علي مولا That mean After me Imam Ali is caliph) So Omar and Abu bakr disobeyed with the Prophet Mohammad. So Omar said I’m the caliph. That day is called عید الغدیر
