Kwago.ph
Kwago.ph is a local brand based in Iloilo City started in November 2015 and was introduced to the public around December 2015 by it's founder, Earvin John Salcedo.
Brand history
Established in Iloilo in 2015, and was first introduced to the public using social media. The term "KWAGO" was inspired from the founder's pet owl 'Zephyr' and was also derived from the book of Karen Francisco (Naermyth) where the "Kwago" are the watchers/guardians of the night. And the "ph" was added to the brand name to give it a local feel. "Alaw kag lupad!" is the brand's motto which means to stalk it's prey and soar high into the skies. It has participated in local fairs such as 'Produkto Local', 'Localitees', & 'Iloilo Craft Assembly'.
Merchandise
The main product of the brand are T-shirts. It also extended the products of the previous digital printing business named EKZ Digital Printing owned by the Kwago.ph's founder, Khon Salcedo wherein shirts, mugs, pins, and other merchandise were customized. In the mid 2016, Kwago.ph has ventured into a new field together with the founder's business partner, named Yan Garcia where they do Photography, Videography, and Digital Design covering various events like weddings, promotional videos, music videos, etc.
Marketing
Kwago.ph has an online shop that accepts orders and do meet-ups since there are currently no actual shop yet established. Some of the products can be found and are being displayed/sold in local events and fairs in public places like Atria Park District & Plazuela De Iloilo.
