I'm just signing in here to remove my e-mail address. I abandoned Wikipedia ages ago, and have no intention of adding to it again. This site overall struck me as a moderately amusing intellectual exercise when you're bored, like crosswords, but I couldn't imagine getting caught up in it. I couldn't take it seriously when I saw it had articles entitled things like 'London, England' -- though that particular fault has been remedied since. The paucity of material on language sometimes shocked me into adding more, but the pedantry repelled me. Since I know Wikipedia's coverage of my field, language and linguistics, is basically worthless, I can't imagine it being of much use in other areas either.
