Gregory Alan Haage (born August 5, 1955) is the founder of Up Front, including Up Front Ministries, Up Front Event Center, Up Front Financial and Up Front Homes. He is an Entrepreneur in Real Estate, Licensed Loan Broker, Licensed Real Estate Broker, as well as, a Worship leader, Psalmist, Author, Christian recording artist, accomplished Professional Musician, Recording studio keyboardist and Producer with 26 years of studio, sound engineering, radio production and live performance experience.

Biography

Haage was born in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota in 1965. His father, William R. Haage, was Vice President of Holiday and his mother, Patricia M. Haage, was a clothing entrepreneur. Haage was an amateur wrestler, placing 3rd in the State and 6th in the nation as an AAU Jr. Olympic Greco-Roman Wrestler. He graduated from Minnetonka High School in 1973.

Haage then attended St. Cloud State University with fellow Mtka. High School and wrestling team alumni, Eric Bischoff. Haage had a conversion experience in 1975 and began formulating the hybrid of music and Christian ministry. Haage graduated in 1977 with a Psychology degree.

However, choosing not to pursue a counseling career, Haage became a full time Professional Musician in 1977 and formed the well-known nightclub group, Up Front with many high profile, musicians and singers as part of his line up.

In 1993, Haage sensed the call to ministry and started attending at local Bible College while still playing with Up Front, as well as, having the house gig at the infamous Anchorage restaurant. His smooth jazz style was a staple for many warming up Recording artist, Craig T. Olson.

In 1995, Haage graduated from Bible College, shut down Up Front, left the Anchorage and entered full-time ministry.

From 1995 to 2001, Haage was an Associate Pastor and Worship Leader at a few local Minneapolis churches, in addition to, being the Executive Music Director for The Lord's Table, a non-traditional, market-ministry outreach of spreading the Gospel thru the arts.

Pastor Greg has over 13+ years of ministry experience and addresses the most common—yet often-times not talked about—issues like financial goals & budgeting, the role of sex and intimacy in marriage, as well as, the need for sound doctrine that is so lacking in today's church. His promotion of the Gospel with truth, freedom, and joy, along with other new ministers being raised up, brings a "fresh, new voice" and wind of change to ministry.

In 2002, Haage was retained by Nate Watenhoffer at Heart Alive, as their Entertainment Director. Heart Alive closed though in 2003.

Sensing a continuation with modifications of Heart Alive, Haage started Up Front Event Center, being based out of the Brookdale Movie Theater, a 20,000 sq. ft. facility renovated by Heart Alive. Up Front did concerts, comedy, drama, weddings and special events. Eminent Domain, however, hindered the fruition of (2) key anchor tenants--Church rentals on Sunday and Wednesday, in addition to, a Cafe thus Up Front Event Center had to vacate the building in 2005.

In 2006, Haage then got licensed in Real Estate. In 2008, Haage became a Broker—Real Estate and Loans—as well as, is an expert in Business funding, Loan negotiations, Debt Mgmt, Credit Repair and Financial Consulting. Haage incorporates ministry in the market place in a non-threatening, user-friendly, one on one style, as opposed to, confrontational witnessing.

He released his first book, The Real Deal (Following Jesus 101) published by Author House in 2008.
