Hi,

I was born in Wesel, Germany in 1959 and now I'm living in the marvellous city of Munich, Germany. I have received a doctor in material science and electromechanical transducers and added a three years education to become a patent attorney. So I'm working since 1992 together with my partners in a independent patent attorney's firm. Meanwhile, I started an education to become a master of mediation at the Fernuniversität Hagen. Mediation is my personal favorite because it provides a kind of deep and true agreement between conflicting parties where the parties are likely to reconsider their own approach and generally get a depper understanding of what the dispute really means for themselves.

I'm divorced and have a son who does very fine. Further I've got a lovely girlfriend who's a lawyer and mediator, too. I'm interested in sports, yoga, motorbiking and skiing in the alps.

The present open source project of the Wikipedia Encyclopedia is an essential evidence for the fact that people are still interested in each other, in life and in the support of common projects even if they are not correlated with personal advantages.

Therefore, I'm trying to do my best here and send my best wishes to all persons caring and making efforts for Wikipedia and all other open source projects.
