DR. ASHRAF SALEHEEN, PhD (USA)


Dr. Ashraf Saleheen, renowned philanthropist, writer, equity analyst & investor and economist is the President & CEO of Capital Bangladesh; President of SHA-ASH Foundation and Group Executive Director of Deshbandhu Sugar Mills Limited, one of the few personnel’s in this industry having most versatile experiences with more than 3 decades with ICI Bangladesh Limited, a subsidiary of ICI UK Plc. and then ACI Limited. He was the Director of the board during ICI regime and acclaimed to the highest professional position, Executive Director of ACI Limited.

Academically he received his PhD, Human Resources Development from USA, B.Com & MA in Economics from Dhaka University and Chartered Accountant from Rahman & Rahman Huq, associate of KPMG, UK. He also did his Diploma in Personnel Management, Diploma in Management Consultancy and Diploma in Company Secretaryship.

Mr. Saleheen was Chief of Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Personnel, Administration and Legal Affairs in ICI Bangladesh and ACI Limited. He is also the Fellow of Institute of Personnel Management, Bangladesh (IPM), Rapport Bangladesh Limited, International Labor Organization (ILO) and Ambassador of SAVOT project of ILO

A frequent traveler Mr. Saleheen attended more than 100 international programs globally. Today Mr. Saleheen is an expert on Corporate Strategic Management Planning and Financial Management Planning; He develops Management Skills and Resolves Conflict Management, Personnel Management, Corporate Planning and Retention Culture, Human Resource Management & Productivity, Safety & Occupation Health as per guidelines of ILO.

Mr. Saleheen is the first person who has introduced successful planning, design and implementations of ISO 9001 and ISO 1400 from British Standard Institute (BSI), UK at ACI Limited.

In his personal life Mr. Saleheen is happily married with Daisy Ashraf, a house maker and one son Ferdoush Saleheen MBA is a Retail Supply Chain Consultant in United States.
