Lifestyle Communities is headquartered in the Arena District, which also includes Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Lifestyle Communities has been one of the more prolific builders in central Ohio in recent years.[1] Current developments include five locations in Central Ohio, as well as another location in Lexington, Kentucky. Recently, it broke ground on its new River South community, the Annex at River South, in Downtown Columbus. Located on 2.8 acres along South Front Street between West Town and Rich streets, the new project is estimated to open in late 2009 and will include 210 residential units.[2]
Lifestyle Communities is a full-service company, whose offerings include not only condominium, single family home and apartment community developments, but additionally property management, mortgage solutions, utility solutions and construction services, as a part of Builders Resource Group.[3]
History
The story of Lifestyle Communities began over thirty years ago with founder and Chairman, Michael DeAscentis. Seeing the interest of his son in entering into the family business, in 1990 Mike Sr. formed D & H Diversified, which led to the creation of Lifestyle Communities in 1996.[4] Since then, Lifestyle Communities has developed nearly 5,000 units including over 2,700 condominiums and over 2,100 apartments.
