Hello and welcome to my user page. I am a research chemist turned data analyst currently based in London, England. My hobbies include running, cooking and singing. I am also a big fan of boardgames and card games which I play with friends and others on a regular basis (both face to face and online).

I am originally from London, England but have spent the last 10 years travelling around for studies and work. I have a PhD in chemistry hence the name Dr Vee! My username is also a play on Dr Dee, a musical about the 16th century magician and advisor to Queen Elizabeth I, John Dee. I sing tenor voice in a choir as well as playing trumpet for a small but fun orchestra. I am a keen runner and currently a member of the Ealing Eagles. I also enjoy boardgaming and playing the CCG Shadowfist when I get the chance.

A good friend of mine who is experienced in Wikipedia suggest I become an editor on Wikipedia as he felt I had some of the right skills to make a go of it. I currently have a lot of spare time and enjoy writing, my PhD also has taught me how to effectively research, abbreviate, write and review information as well as giving me a certain amount of expertise in the field of chemistry. I hope mainly to write new pages for Wikipedia around science topics as well as updating pages of card and board games but we shall see what else happens.
