My name is Qianwen Li, and you can also call me Doris for short. My hometown is Nanchang, Jiangxi Province of China, and because I stayed in Guangzhou for over six years, I regard the amazing city as my second hometown as well.

In 2011, I graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with Bachelor Degree of Engineering, majoring in Information Security. The four-year higher education enriched me professional programming skills and good sense of leadership.

From August 2013, I began to pursuing the master degree of Information Science in University of Pittsburgh. The track I am interested in is Human-centered Computing/ Human Computer Interaction, I desire to explore more about how to design applications and softwares more efficient and delightful to use with information technologies. What's more, researching the social psychology in the area of Social Network and Social Media is also my interest. With a clear career plan, I'm studying hard on my way.

After graduation in 2011, I worked in Air Traffic Management Bureau, Civil Aviation Administration of China as a Software Engineer for 2 years. I was in charge of developing, revamping and testing for the Voice Communication System and Air Traffic Control Automation Systems. The work experience allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge into practical professional skills.

I'm provided with technical skills such as C++, HTML/XML, MySQL, Java, JavaScript and Data Structure and Algorithms. Furthermore, I'm fluent in speaking Mandarin, English and a little bit of Cantonese and Japanese.
