David Byte

Summary
David Byte is a technology strategist and visionary in adapting emerging technology to business problems. In his current role, he has championed and advanced ARMv8 support with SUSE Linux Enterprise through acting as technical business development. He has been the public face of SUSE based ARMv8 announcement since 2015. David is also a subject matter expert in the field of storage. He currently defines reference architectures and configurations to meet the requirements of viable use cases for SUSE Enterprise Storage, which is based on Ceph. He has heavily championed the features and functionalities that enable a data center to adopt this new storage using their current process and structure while preparing them to implement the next generation of technology.
A serial entrepreneur, David Byte has been involved with creating and running businesses since founding his first services company, Computers & Car Stereos in 1988. Since that time David has been involved with many startup company ideas including the following:
