Dev G Devan is a familiar name in Malayalam film industry who carries an experience of more than 20 years as an Assistant/Associate Director/Co-Director in Malayalam visual media field. He has been a part of several popular Malayalam Soap operas as Assistant Director, Chief Associate Director, and Second Unit Director. He has been a vital technician of all the Units because of his immense knowledge about Shooting as well as his Technical knowledge. Because of his hardworking skills, he has also worked in 18 Malayalam movies as Chief Associate Director/ Co Director for the past 12 years. Dev has been the Chief Aടടociate director in all the movies directed by Actor turned Director Baburaj. He also boasts of an envious experience of working as an Associate to One of the best Screenplay writers of Malayalam film industry, Sri T.A. Razzaq for 2 years. He also has the privilege of Co-Directing Sri T.A.Razzaq’s last writen movie ‘Sukhamayirikkatte’. Dev also has experience in Short Film making. His First Short film *Moksham* won the *Best actress award* for *Seema.G.Nair* in 2014 *Kerala Government’s Television Awards*. His 2nd Short film *Bharatheeyan* – *Indian Soldier*’ was about Indian soldiers’ life. It was based on an Indian Malayali Soldier Lance Naik B. Sudheesh, who had a heroic death during an avalanche in Siachen, in 2016. This Short film catalysed the Government approval of providing job to his widow as it was getting delayed for some unkown reasons. Dev G Devan’s most impressive work in TV soaps was during 2015, when he directed the first 25 episodes in a cinematic mode to pave way for the comeback of yesteryear South Indian popular actress, *Githa* as per the instructions of Surya TV. However, due to creative differences, Dev G Devan had to move away from the project. He has Directed several Advertisement films. But now, he is working on a few movie projects to become an independent movie maker as his skills have been honed by all the Experiences, Knowledge, Contacts that testimonies his career resume.
