Who am I?

I travel to some fairly unusual places though my work. I am self employed and my work is broadcast engineering. This means setting up radio and TV transmitters, studios and satellite earth stations. My customers include commercial operators, the BBC World Service and some governments. I received an electronics engineering degree from Imperial College, London and I previously worked for a radio equipment manufacturer in the UK.

Where I have been

I have ongoing work in Afghanistan, Sierra Leone and South Sudan. Other countries/states I have worked in or visited recently Algeria, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Finland, Ghana, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Malta, Micronesia, Nepal, Qatar, Romania, Slovenia, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and West Bank.
