I've decided to give writing articles another go, but with a definite focus on quality over quantity this time. That means no more one-paragraph articles about marginally notable footballers! The recent trend away from presuming notability for sportspeople in general is very encouraging in my opinion; not only will it improve the quality of the encyclopedia, it should also help to address the woeful gender gap in terms of biographical articles.

I created a lot of poor articles in my younger days, but here are some of the ones that the community decided weren't complete garbage:
1920–21 Burnley F.C. season (first GA and then FA that I created from scratch, many thanks to Eric Corbett for the extensive copyediting)- Malkin Tower (with Eric Corbett and Trappedinburnley)
Clarke Carlisle (turned substantial but poor quality article into Good Article)- Turf Moor (since turned into a Featured Article by WA8MTWAYC)
