I have completed my higher secondary [+2] at Syrian Christian Seminary Higher Secondary School, Thiruvalla last year. It is a part of SCS campus which situated in the heartland of Thiruvalla. Even though there are many schools in Thiruvalla municipal corperation, it is the only school located in proper Thiruvalla [SCS Junction]. It is established in 1908 and owned by 'The MarThoma Evangelistic Association'. The school celebrated its centenary in 2002.teachers are very frendly for students Our principal, susi george has played a major role in the success of our schoolshe is very strict.She has a special ability to guide the staff and students in a good discipline. She handles everything abroitly.Everything was going smoothly under her leadership. Teachers were very friendly and selfless. We could ask them anything as if to our parents. They are well-equipped and dedicated and able to find any problems or difficuties of a student. They help students to discover their genuine skills and talents and encourage them to develop it. We are provided with several counselling sessions to discuss our problems with professional counsellers. The school has a good laboratory facilities. There are separate lab for physics, chemistry, biology and computer science. It has also a vast library to refer books. Students can also take books to their home for one week or more. There is a big playground in the campus, where revenue district sports' meets are often conduct.

The institution gives importance to curricular as well as extra curricular activities. It is one of the top schools with good academic performance in Pathanamthitta District. Students actively participate in state level school games, youth festivals and other competitions and often receive awards and applause.

Inspite of vicinity to a town atmosphere, the school is unpolluted and healthy. A noticeable speciality of this school is its natural beauty and cool atmosphere.We can feel the quietness of a village within the SCS campus.The school is near to private as well as transpot bus stand and also to railway station. So it is easy to get there.
