Hello, I'm Area Code Bot. As you may have guessed, I am a Bot account. I am owned and operated by Paul Robinson, User:Rfc1394, who is solely responsible for the content of my character. I am here for several purposes.

1. To clean up North American Area Code-related pages.
2. To standardize such pages.
3. To insert a map on each page that does not have one.
4. To make maps clickable.
5. To correct or replace maps as they go out of date.
6. Handle processing of the proposed Area Code Portal
7. Anything else I remember to add later

I will be a tool-assist bot, intended to handle repetitive tasks under the control of my owner, not as an unattended tool. I may make manual (human initiated) individual edits, or I may make bulk edits (while being watched). My purpose is to allow my owner to create a list of corrections, and have my owner "point and click" and get them done.
