Andrew Chee http://andrewchee.com/ is a user experience designer by trade with a concentration in interaction design and user interface.

Formally trained in computer science and music, his work explores the interconnected and evolving patterns of communication within networks —focusing on identity, co-creation, and feedback— and includes music composition/performance, sound/data driven art, to digital products and strategy.

In October of 2010, Andrew founded Collective Assembly http://collectiveassembly.com/, an independent design studio that studio practices total design for public benefit, supporting and propagating open source hardware, software, and ideas, for local communities, the arts, non-commercial, and commercial alike.

In parallel to Collective Assembly, Andrew continues to work with other entrepreneurs, design studios, global brands, and agencies as an independent designer on projects with similar goals.

A New York City resident of 12 years, he lives and works in Brooklyn.
