Alphonso Alexander L'form is a Rock/Rap/Country singer. He is also a magor league baseball relief pitcher, and a former linebacker in the NFL.

Alex was born on October 16th 1974 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was one third of a set of triplets, along with fellow Major League pitcher, Adam L'form, and Stewart McGraw, also a pitcher. His father, Martin McGraw, pitched in the MLB from 1940 to 1964, and coached from 1965 until his death in 1999. Alex' grandfather, Michael "Mickey" McGraw, was also a Major League Pitcher, from 1915 to 1929, and also coached from 1935 to 1941.

When Alex was born his Mother and Father split up, leaving Alex and Adam to live with their mother, Patricia L'form, and their brother Stewart left in his Fathers care. When Alex was 10, his mother Patricia overdosed on painkillers, leaving Alex and Adam to live with their father. Martin McGraw taught each of his sons how to throw a fastball and a changeup.

By the age of 15 Alex could throw a fastball at 102, a changeup nearing 78, a curveball with a break of 2 feet, and a slider which would come in at 98. Major league teams began to grow interest in Alex. In 1988 the Toronto Bluejays came close to signing Alex, and his brother Adam, each to a 4 year contract worth $99,000 dollars, Martin did not allow them to sign, because of terms in the contracts. In 1989, at the age of 14 Alex signed a 1 year $100,000 contract with the Cincinnati Reds, His brother Adam signed a 1 year contract with Philadelphia, and Stewart McGraw chose to stay in school instead of signing.

In 1991, Alex L'form, then in his Second year in Cincinnati, was traded for his brother, Adam, Sending Alex to the Phillies and Adam to the Reds AAA team. In his Phillies debut he struck out two batters, then gave up a home run to Bret Barberie of the Expos. Also in 1991, Stewart McGraw signs a length-unknown contract with the Minnesota Twins.

In 1992, Alex, as a Phillie, and his brother Adam, making his Major League debut with the Pirates, faced one another for the first time. In Alex' first at bat, Adam unintentionally hit him on the shin. The Pirates won the game, and Adam was given a no-decision, Alex was given a loss. On December 25th 1994, Alex was traded to the Texas Rangers, and due to the strike shortened season, he ended '94 with a 1-0 record. One highlight, During a Rangers-Orioles game, Alex pitched for Texas, and his brother Stewart pitched for Baltimore.

On January 18th 1995 Alex signed an 8 year contract worth $800,000 with the Atlanta Braves. During the All Star break, Alex, Adam (Now with Houston), and Stewart went on a fishing trip with their Father, Martin. On the trip Martin told the boys that he was very sick, and didnt know how much longer he would live. Alex, playing for Atlanta, and his father (Assistant coach for Atlanta), began to make a close friendship. On July 19th 1999, Martin McGraw died of Cancer. Alex asked the Braves for a day off from the game he was scheduled to start two days later, and he was denied. Alex, Upset with the braves, Forced a trade to the Arizona Diamondbacks on November 30th 1999. After several sub-par years in Arizona (2000-2002), Alex signed a 1 year deal with Boston.

"I chose Boston for Two reasons, One: I wanted to play for a team that respected what I can do as a player, instead of signing me just for my celebrity. My second reason: My father, was a great man, a great player, and a great coach. From 1970 to 1990 He served here, In Boston, as an assistant coach. I signed with the Red Sox so Boston fans will not soon forget the efforts, and the time he put into this team." -In a press conference in 2003

"He had some great years in Atlanta, I will miss the chance of so many games between our teams, but he really wanted to sign with the Red Sox, so I mean, what can you do? He loved our father very much so Im glad hes able to keep his memory in Boston." -Adam L'form in an interview with Dan Patrick, 2003

In his debut with the Boston Red Sox, Alex received a standing ovation, while fans cheered for both him and his father. He struck out a career best, 14 batters in a complete game win. After the game the Red Sox honored Martin McGraw, Giving Alex a bronze plaque Depicting all the great things he did with the Red Sox. Later that year, In Oakland, Alex L'form was facing his brother Stewart, who was picthing for the A's. In the game, Nomar Garciaparra, was drilled in the shoulder by a pitch from Barry Zito. Zito then unententionally threw close to the head of Manny Ramirez. Manny charged the mound, which caused a bench clearing brawl, Alex and Stewart began to argue, which caused the two to star fighting, the two were suspended for 3 games each.

On February 1st 2009 Alex signed a 5 year contract worth $900,000 with the New York Yankees. In game three of the World Series against the Phillies, Alex was hit in the left eye by a ball hit foul off of Jayson Werths bat.

Alex is also a former Linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals (1991-1994), Pittsburgh Steelers (1995-1998), and the Oakland Raiders (1999-2001).

Alex is also the father of Florida Marlins Second Baseman, Barney G. Melvin. Alex was only 14 when Barney was born.
