If you are looking to for a way to contribute to Wikipedia which you can do at your own pace, take a look at this (and press query). Biographies of living people with unsourced statements. Theretically, there shouldn't be any there, instead of 23,500. Simply look up the unsourced statement, run a google search (or something similar), and add the reference! If you cannot find a reference for it, remove the statement. Simple as that.
