The link, "Horn, Robert E. (1998). "Structured Writing as a Paradigm" (PDF). rhetcomp.gsu.edu. Educational Technology Publications. Retrieved 22 October 2014." is broken. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.228.197.7 (talk) 19:20, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
What do you guys think about expanding this article to add an impact section and an origin section? Cemcgee492 (talk) 18:28, 9 November 2023 (UTC)

Additional useful sources I am planning to add
- To give more background on how structured writing was created, I think this source would be beneficial since it's a primary source from Horn and his colleagues describing how they created it in a series of information maps. Link: https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/tr/pdf/AD0699201.pdf
- Here's another source that could work well with the lead section since Horn is reflecting on his creation years later and comparing it to another form of structured writing inspired by his. He details his process as well as labels his inspirations behind creating structured writing. Link: https://dl.acm.org/doi/pdf/10.1145/330595.330601
- I was also planning on adding an impact section, and this source would be beneficial as it's a research study conducted that used structured writing to see if students in a junior high math class would retain information better. It shows how structured writing has its merits and is a good way to help students learn. Link: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/278848346_The_Effect_of_Information_Mapping_Strategy_on_Mathematics_Conceptual_Knowledge_of_Junior_High_School_Students
- Since there's now a company dedicated to teaching other companies how to use structured writing to streamline information, I am planning to use their website as a source in the impact section to show that it's still being used today. Link:https://informationmapping.com/
- Lastly, I'm planning to combine the section on DITA into the impact section and since the existing section doesn't have a source, I'm planning on adding this source to connect structured writing to DITA Link: https://people.cs.vt.edu/~kafura/CS6604/Papers/Darwin-Information-Typing-Architecture.pdf

Improperly Formatted Text
I'm wondering what is being referenced at the top of the page where it says there is improperly formatted text? If anyone knows why that's there that would be helpful. My only guess is it's referencing the template on the side labeled "information mapping". Other than that, I fixed the issue saying the article needed citations.
