A picture would help for this article. I'll leave it to someone else to find one that won't violate anyone's copyright. -Barry- 21:25, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
There's a popular animation that depicts curve stitching that looks simple to create with the proper software. Anyone want to create something similar, either for this article or for a new curve stitching article?

this page needs to have some work sheets!
One of the figures is listed as describing a parabola. Wouldn't it be a hyperbola?

Computational string art
User Kontrola and user 83.3.50.174 added an artwork of Jacek Karaś that is computational string art. The concept of computational string art belongs to Petros Vrellis. He was the first to present it in 2016. His work gained global popularity and was copied by hundreds (refer to google search results: https://www.google.com/search?q=string+art+portrait). Jacek Karaś is only one of the hundreds that have copied Vrellis concept, and there is no obvious reason to showcase his work. Concluding, the addition of Jacek Karaś artwork should be considered as spam and inappropriate content for Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.205.244.137 (talk) 10:25, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
Vrellis's Computational string art notability
User Discospinster deleted a sentence about Petros Vrellis' contribution in string art, invoking unclear notability. However Vrellis work has inspired hundrends or thousands of other to create similar computational string art. An image search https://www.google.com/search?q=string+art&tbm=isch reports that about 10% of string art is now computational string art. This clearly proves that Vrellis work is notable and it should be included in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.87.49.76 (talk) 17:33, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
- Google searches are not a way to determine notability or whether he should be talked about in the article. You would need to find reliable third party sources that discuss this person and his work. ... discospinster talk 17:47, 27 September 2022 (UTC)

Spirelli
There is no article about spirelli and I haven’t been able to find so much as a dictionary definition. If anyone is knowledgeable about this subject, please add a reference, even if it doesn’t warrant an article on its own. Humphrey Tribble (talk) 00:49, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
