Talk:Monolithic

Most programs use static linking, even if they also use dynamic linking (though this is not necessarily a requirement). As an example, many programs use the C runtime as a static link library (though this can be dynamically linked, e.g. MSVCRTxx.DLL). So it would not be appropriate to use "Monolithic" and "Statically linked" as synonyms. 66.71.68.210 20:02, 8 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to Monolith (disambiguation)?

The current redirection to a type of crystal is not the correct place for most of the things that link to "monolithic" to go to. I think the right redirection would be to Monolith (disambiguation). That will create a lot of links that will have to be repointed to the correct destinations, but it seems like the right place for someone who types in "Monolithic" as a search term.
