Talk:Linux range of use

Possible article renaming?

How about maybe renaming the article to "Linux uses" or "Linux usage"? To me, the current title isn't that bad, but it's somehow too long and possibly awkward. Just as a suggestion... Thoughts? -- Dsimic (talk) 13:33, 17 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

checkY Agree. "Linux uses" is a good title. 117.223.154.208 (talk) 04:21, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Merge back to Linux#Uses?

There's a lot of cruft on this page; and I'm not sure there's a need for a stand-alone page once that is removed. Power~enwiki (talk) 04:27, 8 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Linux range of use

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Linux range of use's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "auto":

  • From Earth Simulator: CEIST, JAMSTEC. "EARTH SIMULATOR". www.jamstec.go.jp.
  • From Linux: "From Earth to orbit with Linux and SpaceX | ZDNet". www.zdnet.com.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 15:08, 14 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
