Talk:Jake Williams

Wouldn't it be a good idea to rename this page "Rex The Dog" and to link the page called "JX" to the Rex The Dog page, rather than the other way around? Rex The Dog is the current artist name. DVTB (talk) 07:58, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, Article should at least be Rex the Dog with a section about JX. JamieH (talk) 16:10, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

JX (artist)Jake Williams — Jake Williams had a number of equally notable stagenames, namely "Rex the Dog" and "JX", therefore rather than naming the title as the currently obsolete stagename (JX) or his current stagename (Rex the Dog); the proposal will makes things simpler — Donnie Park (talk) 02:23, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What about the 3 releases as equinox with early dance label immortal storm.

These 3 releases pre date JX. The first was BTON001 Nightmare/identify yourself. BTON002 was the Feels like Heaven EP. BTON003 had I am the creator, F15 and Hellfire. ~2026-98733-4 (talk) 22:55, 13 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Information on immortal storm Equinox

Immortal Storm was a short-lived but historically significant independent Brighton-based record label specializing in Oldskool Hardcore and early jungle-techno. Active primarily around 1992, it was part of the early wave of Brighton's electronic music infrastructure that predated the more famous mid-90s "Big Beat" era. Key Facts About Immortal Storm: Location: The label was operated out of a residential address in the Withdean area of Brighton (45 Dene Vale, BN1 5ED). Major Releases: Its most notable release was the "Feels Like Heaven EP" by the artist Equinox(catalogue number BTON 001), which is a sought-after piece of UK hardcore history. Musical Style: The label's sound was characterized by the high-tempo, breakbeat-heavy "Hardcore" style that dominated the UK rave scene in the early 90s, often featuring vocal samples and uplifting piano riffs. The "BTON" Prefix: Fittingly for a local label, its catalogue numbering system used the prefix "BTON," a clear reference to its Brighton roots. While it didn't achieve the global commercial success of later labels like Skint or Loaded, Immortal Storm is a cult favorite among vinyl collectors of the early 90s UK rave scene. ~2026-98733-4 (talk) 23:04, 13 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
