- Yes. I have replaced it with a redirect. Note that there is also a web accelerator article which describes the exact same thing. DES (talk) 13:21, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
- Preemptive note to trigger-happy revert puppies: this article was originally created by Fresheneesz to explain the term “HTTP accelerator” as used in Varnish (software) (see [1] and [2]). However, what the article actually describes is only one of many aspects of the functionality of HTTP accelerators, and at that one that Varnish did not offer at the time. It is adequately covered in the reverse proxy article, which predates this one by more than three years. DES (talk) 13:28, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
