The game has since released on iPhone
I have gmod on my phone, I don’t know when it came out for mobile tho. That should be in the article. Geghiimgeg (talk) 12:26, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
- You'll need a source that's discussed it. DonIago (talk) 12:37, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think it ever came out for mobile, especially iPhone. It's either a fake or you hacked your phone because the only version that came out for any mobile device is Android, where you can use an APK file and Garry's Mod files to play Source Engine with GMOD on Android. 47.177.49.43 (talk) 22:39, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
This game contains the biggest videogame map in videogame history (Mod)

- An AI-generated response is not a reliable source. Also, that's not the answer I got when I clicked the link. DonIago (talk) 02:11, 15 March 2025 (UTC)

JBmod redirect.
Why does JBmod redirect to this page? Gmod and JBmod are vastly different.
JBmod was the first source mod, it was also the direct inspiration for Gmod, im not even sure JBmod is mentioned on this page so the redirect doesn’t make sense (it deserves its own page) Wickedwinter (talk) 04:08, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- JBMod is connected through the shared history you mentioned. If you can find enough reliable sources it could be worth its own article. Harryhenry1 (talk) 11:20, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- It definitely could be, I don’t think a redirect is warranted based on the fact that there isn’t a mention of JBMod on the article. (Maybe it could redirect to the source mods page if i put JBMod on there) Wickedwinter (talk) 16:56, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- There is a mention of JBMod, though. IceWelder [✉] 17:10, 8 December 2025 (UTC)

Avatar V. Playermodel
In the promo image's description it refers to the player's visual representation as an avatar, however in Garry's Mod it is referred to as the Playermodel (or Player Model), I was wondering if we should change it to Playermodel, or keep it as avatar. MaybeJcBoi (talk) 00:23, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
- What's show is the entire player in action, not just the model, so I think the existing description is apt. IceWelder [✉] 08:56, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
