advertisement?
This article sounds like an advertisement. There is no such thing as "true scripting", that sounds like some buzzword to me. Please rewrite the article.
Need a true article
There are other expression languages than the EL in JSF. Examples of other expression languages are regular expression languages like PCRE and data-structure traversal languages like XPath. Lauri.pirttiaho (talk) 08:25, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Agreed. I came here looking for information about "expression languages" in general. Oracle's EL is not the only expression language, and the article on Oracle's EL does not help the reader understand the subject in general. The article I've created is a stub, but I hope someone will come along and improve it. Revdrace (talk) 13:58, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
