Recent news surrounding Ontario Place and Greenbelt controversies

Hi,

Suprised noone has added sections on the news that the ICO has ruled Ryan Amato must provide his emails as well as NYT article noting Therme lied about its previous work in Europe.

I truly believe this content should be updated, but understand these are very contentious issues which may be paint Ford negatively without further context. I am prepared to make these updates, but was wondering if anyone had any pushback or an idea as how to best position these edits. I think the creation of a controversy section seen on other head of government's wikipedia pages would best. While this would be quite long, it is understandable for a government with 9 years under its belt.

Will make these edits in the next few days pending any feedback, but these types of updates should surely be included. PaulCrosby42 (talk) 21:43, 19 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Every editor is free to add material, yourself included.
There are already controversy sections, although they are not recommended. It's better to cover controversies as they arise. For example, the controversies surrounding the science centre is better included in a section about Ford's policy on the Science Centre. TFD (talk) 12:13, 20 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Made edits to both sections. Happy to discuss these if anyone believes they are too contentious and/do not provide value to the page. However, I do think updates to relevant controversies should be included on this page. PaulCrosby42 (talk) 20:23, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Phone use

I added some info about how he gives out his phone number to random people which I was surprised wasn’t stated in the article anywhere. [1] Is there a reason for this? I looked through the archives of this talk page and I couldn’t see it being discussed anywhere. Thepharoah17 (talk) 01:53, 24 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ontario's Ronald Reagan Ad and US Tariff response

This topic is discussed twice in the article. it was originally in the relationship with conservative section and then a new edit made its own section. The topic is relevant I am just not sure where its more appropriate to be discussed. McCIrishman (talk) 17:15, 4 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
