This page could use some redesign. Direction Vectors have become a core representational tool in spatial software apps, yet the article introduces them narrowly in the context of the parametric line equation. Other uses that could be covered: use in representing the orientation of planes, to represent the direction going from point A to point B (and how to calculate it), used to represent the orientation of any planar object in 3D, such as 3D circles, 3D ellipses, used to represent an arbitrary 3D axes rotation [ newXaxis, newYaxis, newZaxis ] Pbierre (talk) 00:47, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
Help remove this page
This page creates toftology. The direction vector is the same as the Euclidean vector. The most valuable in this village is the equation of the straight line, which is used as a vector. All references on this page are not valuable, since they contain only vector definition (Euclidean), and an antiscientific attempt to impose the definition of "position vectors".
