Digital holography/computer generated holography

There is a section entitled Digital Holography, parts of which appear to be discussing the same topic as this, and parts of which are discussing digital analysis of holograms. Is Digital Holography the same as Computer Generated Holography or not?

It would be useful if someone who is knowledgeable in the field were to look at both pages, and combine the relevant bits and separate out the non relevant.

Does Digital Holography have two different meanings?

Suggestion Combine relevant parts of Digital Holography with this.Epzcaw (talk) 08:14, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is there confusion between holographs and holograms here?

I'm a wiki nube.

I'm not very knowledgeable but there seems to be a mixing of the terms "holograph" and "hologram" here. If not then there is a lack of distinction in the description.

I agree also that some of what is here should just be combined with "Digital Holography".

Digital holography is the opposite of computer generated hologram. Digital holography is when an image is generated by a computer from a hologram recorded on a digital image sensor. Egelberg (talk) 18:47, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

viZoo holographic technology

Can anyone figure out exactly what type of system is being used by this company: www.vizoo.com, see also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7K0GQPnmDI. The technical information on their site is extremely limited. At first glance it would appear to be a commercially available computer-generated holography system with a 360-degree viewing angle, but looking closely it appears it may just be creating a seemingly free-floating projection of a flat video rendering, which would look the same from any angle, and just uses videos of rotating objects to make it less obvious.
