Rubinisphaera is a genus of bacteria from the family of Planctomycetaceae with two known species.[1][2] Rubinisphaera brasiliensis has been isolated from water from the Lagoa Vermelha from Brazil.[3][4]

Phylogeny

The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)[1] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).[5]
