This article may meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion because it serves only to promote or publicise an entity, person, product, or idea, and would require a fundamental rewrite in order to become encyclopedic. However, the mere fact that a company, organization, or product is a page's subject does not, on its own, qualify that page for deletion under this criterion. This criterion also does not apply where substantial encyclopedic content would remain after removing the promotional material as deletion is not cleanup; in this case please remove the promotional material yourself, or add the {{advert}} tag to alert others to do so. See CSD G11.

iRestify is a Canadian-American property technology company that provides cleaning, maintenance, and facilities management services for property managers, combined with a software platform for booking, tracking, and reporting on the work. Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, iRestify operates in two Canadian provinces and eight U.S. states.[1]
History
iRestify was federally incorporated in Canada in 2015 by co-founders Charlotte Gummesson and Erifili Morfidis and launched commercial operations in 2018.[2] The company has raised over US$9 million in venture financing as of 2023[3].
Before founding iRestify, Charlotte Gummesson and Erifili Morfidis worked together in senior roles at the French call-centre multinational Teleperformance. Morfidis served as chief executive officer of Teleperformance Canada,[4] and Gummesson subsequently led Teleperformance Canada as chief executive officer.[5][6]
Seed funding and COVID-19
In October 2018, iRestify raised $1 million in seed financing led by Birchmere Ventures, with participation from Good News Ventures and Maple Leaf Angels.[2]
The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the company's small-business clientele. In a 2022 interview with BetaKit, co-founder Charlotte Gummesson said that iRestify lost approximately 90 percent of its business in March 2020 and subsequently repositioned to serve multifamily residential and commercial property managers.[7] In August 2020, the company announced a $2.4 million seed extension led by Converge with participation from Birchmere Ventures and Export Development Canada.[8]
Expansion, leadership and recognition
In March 2022, iRestify raised $6 million in financing led by Gutbrain Ventures and PBJ Capital, with participation from Export Development Canada, Joint Effects, Birchmere Ventures, and Converge.[7][6][9] The financing was raised to support expansion into the United States, with initial market entry in New York, Boston, Chicago, and Minnesota.[7]
In May 2023, the company announced the appointment of Karl Sowa as chief executive officer. Sowa had previously served as president of TaskEasy.[3] Gummesson continued with the company as president and co-founder, and in 2026 was named to Software Equity Group's annual list of "Female Trailblazers of SaaS."[10]
In 2024, iRestify reorganized as a corporate group with entities in Delaware and Ontario, while maintaining its headquarters in Toronto.[11][12][13]
The company was included in KPMG's 2022 Real Estate Innovations Overview survey of global property-technology companies and was recognized by the National Apartment Association in its Top Employers Awards from 2024 to 2026.[14][15][16][17]
Services and operations
iRestify provides cleaning and maintenance services for property managers through a software platform used for service booking, tracking, documentation, and reporting.[7][18]
As of 2026, the company reported performing services in more than 800 buildings across North America, operating in Ontario and Nova Scotia in Canada and in eight U.S. states: Arizona, Utah, Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, and North Carolina.[1]
