Wireless Logic Group is a provider of Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity services. Founded in 1999, the company operates as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), to large enterprises, system integrators, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

A UK based company, it is headquartered in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

History

Wireless Logic was established in 1999, focused initially on machine-to-machine (M2M) communications within wireless telecommunications.[1]

In 2011, Entrepreneur Peter Jones sold Wireless Logic to private equity firm ECI Partners in a deal reportedly worth £38 million.[2]

In 2015, CVC Capital Partners acquired Wireless Logic from ECI.[3]

In 2017, Wireless Logic acquired Cloud9 (2017), a provider of programmable SIMs and infrastructure for mobile subscriptions.

In 2018, Montagu Private Equity acquired a majority stake in Wireless Logic from CVC Capital.[4]

In 2025, General Atlantic acquired a minority shareholding in Wireless Logic, valuing the company at £3.5 billion.[5]

In 2025, Montagu Private Equity created a single-asset continuation vehicle ("SACV") to be managed by Montagu, with TPG GP Solutions as lead investor and CVC Secondary Partners and Partners Group as co-leads.[6]
