William Champe Marshall (November 13, 1849 – October 10, 1921)[1] was an American lawyer who served as a justice of the Supreme Court of Missouri from 1899 to 1906.[2]

Born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Marshall attended the University of Mississippi and the University of Virginia.[1]

Lawyer and Former City Counselor Succumbs to Heart Disease at Age of 72. William C. Marshall, 72 years old, member of the law firm of Henderson & Marshall, former Judge of the Missouri Supreme Court and former City Counselor of St. Louis, died of heart disease at 8 a. m. today at the Buckingham Annex Hotel where he had resided with hss daughters, Letitia and Daisy. He had been suffering several days from a cold which grew progressively worse and this is supposed to have aggravated the heart affectio l vhich was the immediate cause of death. Marshall wan City Counselor or St. Louis from lMii to lSas and Supreme Court Judge from 1898 to 1906. He had been associated with former Judge William W. Henderson in law practice since 1910. He married Katherine M. Reading of Vicksburg in 1878. Mrs. Marshall died in 1907. He was military captain in the engineer corps of the National Guard of Missouri in 1872, captain of Company A, Third Regiment, in 1882, and captain of Company K, First Regiment, in 1883 and 1884. He was judge advocate of the First Regiment about 10 years. He was a Democrat and a member of the Masonic Order.[1]
