State Pins
Like other state and country chartered associations of HOSA, Virginia HOSA annually produces a unique lapel pin that is given out at the State Leadership Conference (SLC).[12] Each year, members may submit designs through the pin design competition held during the conference, with the winning design becoming the official Virginia HOSA pin for the following year. These pins can be kept as collectibles and are commonly used for pin trading at the HOSA International Leadership Conference (ILC).[13][14]
Chinese Auction
Virginia HOSA used to hold a Chinese Auction during the State Leadership Conference to raise money for the VA HOSA Scholarship. It relied on chapters donating 2 items to be auctioned off. This was the only method for raising funds for the scholarship at the time.[15]
