Tim Jevšnik (born 29 December 2003) is a Slovenian archer. Competing in the compound bow category, Jevšnik represents the Slovenia national team.[1] He won the bronze medal in the men's team compound event at the 2025 World Archery Championships, the silver medal in the men's team compound event at the 2026 European Archery Championships, and the bronze medal in men's individual compound at the 2026 European Indoor Archery Championships.[2][3][4]

Career

Jevšnik competed internationally for Slovenia in compound archery. At the 2025 Veronica's Cup held in Kamnik, Slovenia, he was the top seed in men's compound qualification after scoring 711 points with 32 Xs, one point short of the Slovenian national record. World Archery reported that he had previously won silver at the same event in 2023.[5]

At the 2025 World Archery Championships held in Gwangju, South Korea, Jevšnik won the bronze medal in the men's team compound event with Aljaž Matija Brenk and Staš Modic. Slovenia defeated Mexico in the round of 16 and later reached the medal matches. In the bronze-medal match, Slovenia beat Turkey 233–232 to finish third.[2] The result was described as a historic medal for Slovenia in the men's compound team event.[6]

At the 2026 European Indoor Archery Championships held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Jevšnik won the bronze medal in men's individual compound. In the bronze-medal match, he defeated Croatia's Domagoj Buden 146–143 to finish third.[4] In April 2026, Jevšnik competed at the Puebla stage of the 2026 Archery World Cup in Mexico. He reached the semi-finals of the men's individual compound event, where he lost 147–141 to Denmark's Mathias Fullerton. In the bronze-medal match, he defeated the United States' Stephan Hansen 145–144 to win the bronze medal.[7][8]

At the 2026 European Archery Championships held in Antalya, Turkey, Jevšnik won the silver medal in the men's team compound event with Aljaž Matija Brenk and Staš Modic. Slovenia, seeded fifth in the team event, defeated Slovakia 236–226 in the round of 16, Italy 236–235 in the quarter-finals and Turkey 236–232 in the semi-finals. In the final, Slovenia lost 236–234 to France and finished as European runner-up.[3][9][10] In the men's individual compound event at the same 2026 European Championships, Jevšnik finished sixth in qualification with a score of 709. He was pre-seeded into the round of 32.[11] In May 2026, Jevšnik again competed at the Veronica's Cup in Kamnik. He secured the top seed in the men's compound qualification round with a score of 709, finishing ahead of India's Priyansh on countback after both archers recorded the same score, X count and number of 10s.[12][13] At the same tournament, Slovenia, represented by Brenk, Jevšnik and Modic, finished first in men's team compound qualification with 2120 points and later won the silver medal in the team event after losing 236–235 to Italy in the final.[14]
