Techmark is a Polish manufacturing company specializing in the production of metal furniture and storage systems based on RFID technology.[1]The company was founded in 1990..[2] One of major Polish furniture manufacturers.[3][4]

History

The company began its operations as a manufacturer of traditional metal furniture, and then expanded its offer to include specialized tool cabinets, employee lockers, and locker systems. In the second decade of the 21st century, Techmark began working on the integration of digital solutions, including radio frequency identification (RFID) technology.[5] The implementation of cabinets equipped with RFID-UHF[6] was carried out with the support of EU funds,[7][8] including the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) under the Intelligent Development Operational Program (POIR).[9][10].[11]

Achievements and awards

The company has patented three inventions[12][13][14] and six utility models related to the use of RFID technology in metal cabinets, and further patent applications are pending.[15]

It has also been recognized eight times in the Gazele Biznesu ranking published by Puls Biznesu in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2020.[16] In 2024, the company was honored with the Forbes Diamond by the Polish edition of the magazine.
